Berggård Amundsen & Co AS is a leading Norwegian electronics wholesaler supplying critical equipment to professionals who depend on reliable deliveries to keep projects moving. With a main warehouse, 25 service centres and multiple carriers running up to 80 routes a day, the company needed a single system to consolidate delivery information and eliminate time-consuming manual tracking across different tools.
Each day, Berggård Amundsen distributes electrical equipment across Norway, often to customers who rely on precise, time-sensitive delivery windows. With several different carriers operating dozens of routes, tracking shipments through fragmented carrier systems became increasingly demanding and inefficient.
The business needed full visibility of its deliveries, accessible across the entire organisation, and integrated seamlessly with existing warehouse and ERP systems.
Berggård Amundsen integrated nShift Ship with both Astro (its WMS at the main warehouse) and Infor M3 (the ERP used by all 25 service centres). This created a single delivery management layer covering shipments from the main warehouse to service centres and from both locations directly to customers.
The company also uses Scan App to support parcel scanning, with tracking information sent to a cloud-based service. This makes shipment data available to all relevant employees without relying on individual carrier portals.
The impact of introducing nShift has been significant. Tracking is now consolidated, manual work has been reduced and delivery visibility is available to everyone across the organisation.
Beyond day-to-day improvements, nShift also supports long-term decision-making and future scalability. The company now operates with clearer oversight, simpler workflows and a central knowledge base to evaluate carrier performance and support continuous improvement.
