Dermosil turns delivery choice into customer satisfaction

Founded in 1988 and known for its long-standing focus on quality and innovation, Dermosil was an early e-commerce pioneer, launching its first online store in 1996.

Already using Delivery to manage transports and shipping labels, the company upgraded to include Checkout when moving to its new online platform, Litium.

The goal: to enhance the customer experience by offering multiple delivery options and full visibility at checkout.

Challenge

As an established e-commerce brand, Dermosil needed a way to continuously improve delivery flexibility without adding complexity.

The team wanted direct control over carrier integrations and the ability to respond quickly to customer feedback about delivery options. Previously, adding or changing transport services required third-party involvement, slowing down experimentation and limiting agility.

Solution

By introducing Checkout, Dermosil gained the freedom to manage carrier setup, transport services, and delivery presentation directly, all within its own systems.

This allows the team to easily adapt to changing customer needs and add new delivery partners as requested.

Customers are sensitive to changes, but when it comes to freedom of choice at checkout, Dermosil hasn’t had any negative feedback. Quite the opposite, in fact.

Results

The combination of Delivery and Checkout has made Dermosil’s operations more efficient and customer-centric:

  • Faster and easier onboarding of new carriers
  • Greater control over transport and checkout services
  • A better customer experience through flexibility and choice

Dermosil now benefits from a streamlined, adaptable system that supports experimentation, meets customer expectations, and strengthens loyalty.
