Part of the Swedish Rusta Group, Happy Angler (formerly Hong Kong Fishing Online Store) sells over 10,000 fishing products to customers in Finland, Sweden, and 31 other countries across Europe.
The company upgraded to a new ecommerce platform incorporating Checkout to deliver a more seamless shopping experience and greater flexibility in delivery management.
Challenge
Happy Angler wanted to move away from a legacy ecommerce platform that limited its ability to adapt quickly.
The team sought a cost-effective, scalable checkout solution that allowed them to update shipping options and integrate easily with their preferred carriers.
Having already used the delivery solution for more than a decade, the company chose to integrate Checkout with its new Storm Commerce and Klarna systems, ensuring flexibility, reliability, and continuity.
Solution
Powered by Checkout, in combination with Storm Commerce and Klarna, the new Happy Angler platform provides online shoppers with a clean, intuitive checkout.
I believe nShift to be highly cost-effective. Much more cost-effective than if we had created our own custom solution.

Customers can now view a wider range of delivery choices based on their location and basket contents. In Finland, the checkout also offers pickup from thousands of collection points, making the process faster and easier for customers.
The level of control that nShift Checkout gives to users like me has been a big plus. Now, if we want to change elements of the checkout experience, we don’t have to go through a third party. We can do it ourselves.

Sustainability is a growing concern for our customers. So, being able to offer delivery options based on energy efficiency as well as cost is something that we think could give us a competitive edge.
