Mobile Climate Control (MCC) is a global HVAC manufacturer supplying the commercial and specialty vehicle industries. With operations spanning Sweden, Canada, China, the United States, South Africa and a major site in Oława, Poland, the company manages complex transport flows every day. To support global growth and mitigate operational risk, MCC needed a centralised transport management layer that could replace manual carrier communication and scattered data.

Challenge

Before adopting nShift TMS, MCC’s transport teams were booking shipments through a mix of emails, phone calls and multiple carrier portals. This created heavy manual workloads, inconsistent processes and fragmented transport data across logistics, finance and planning.

The manual verification of transport invoices was especially time-consuming. Teams had to compare each carrier invoice against agreed rates, increasing lead times and the risk of errors. With several production and R&D locations worldwide, MCC needed a scalable, standardised and automated way to book shipments and manage cost control.

Solution

The management board, along with the logistics, transport and finance departments, selected nShift TMS to standardise and automate shipment ordering while improving visibility and accuracy across the transport chain.

With nShift, MCC can now:

  • automate shipment bookings and rate calculations
  • verify delivery punctuality and transport costs directly in the system
  • centralise tracking information using the track-and-trace module
  • add new carriers quickly when needed
  • generate management reports for better operational and financial insight

The platform became easier and more intuitive for daily work just months after go-live.

After the first months of the solution being in operation, it was already possible to conclude that the processes are simpler to complete and more intuitive. Measurable savings in time are also evident, which translate into financial benefits, as well as benefits resulting from analyzing reports.
