Founded in 2010, Rebelz is a Sweden-based e-commerce company serving jiu-jitsu and wrestling athletes across 54 countries. With only two full-time employees, efficiency is essential for managing a high volume of international orders. As the company approaches 11 million SEK in revenue in 2024, Rebelz has made operational optimisation a core priority.
Solution delivered in partnership with Krokedil
Rebelz has partnered with Krokedil since 2015, focusing on improving their WooCommerce setup and reducing manual work. When Rebelz needed a scalable solution for shipment creation, Krokedil recommended nShift.
Challenge
As Rebelz expanded internationally, shipment creation became increasingly time-consuming. Every order required manual steps: printing labels, preparing customs documentation, applying shipping rules and managing returns. This slowed fulfilment and made it difficult to keep up with orders across 54 countries and multiple carriers, including PostNord, DPD, FedEx, UPS and DHL.
But as the business grew further, a second challenge emerged: checkout complexity. Rebelz needed a way to:
- show different delivery methods in different markets
- control shipping logic more precisely
- roll out consistent checkout behaviour across three separate webshops
- test delivery options to see which ones converted best
Their delivery setup had matured, but the checkout experience needed to catch up.
We’ve always focused on efficiency. With a small team, every click counts, and manual shipping simply wasn’t sustainable.

Solution
Rebelz first automated fulfilment by implementing nShift Delivery, eliminating nearly all manual steps. Shipping labels, customs documents, packing slips and return labels are now generated automatically, streamlining the entire process for a small team. This created the operational foundation Rebelz needed to scale without adding headcount.
Building on that foundation, Rebelz then began piloting the updated nShift Checkout as part of a joint project with Krokedil, one of the first partners to extend the new version to WooCommerce. Rebelz is rolling out Checkout gradually across its three webshops, using a soft transition to maintain continuity.
The updated checkout displays delivery options directly in an embedded interface. Rebelz can now define rules that determine which methods appear, how they are priced and which carriers are used in each market. With A/B testing, the team can experiment safely and identify which options drive the strongest conversion.
The updated Checkout keeps the logic merchants already use, but offers a much better interface and configuration experience. Switching from the old to the new checkout is very smooth.

Results
The combined setup of Delivery + Checkout has given Rebelz a fully connected flow, from cart to label. Automated shipments now support fulfilment across 54 markets with fewer manual steps, while the new checkout brings consistency, configurability and conversion-driven optimisation across all three webshops.
Key improvements include:
- Faster shipment handling
- Fewer manual steps across fulfilment
- Consistent logic retained across all three webshops
- A checkout setup that converts sales and scales across markets
Rebelz now runs a global operation with less effort, more accuracy and a checkout that can scale with growth.
This setup lets us run a global business with a small team. It’s efficient, predictable and easy to manage as we grow.
