Webwinkel Vakdagen 2026 is behind us, and what an edition it was. Over two packed days at Jaarbeurs Utrecht, the who's who of Benelux e-commerce gathered under one roof: webshop owners, fulfilment companies, platform builders, agencies, carriers, and everyone else with a stake in the industry. The energy on the floor was kept at an all tim high by stands full of creative activations - to me this is a true testament to the dynamism and diversity of this ecosystem.
For nShift, this year felt more connected. The conversations at our booth, which we proudly shared with our partner CheapCargo, confirmed something we've been feeling for a while: nShift is no longer simply known as a shipping tool. We are being embraced across the entire e-commerce ecosystem, from the first click at checkout all the way through to delivery, tracking, and returns.
Here are our key learnings from WWV 2026.
Native integrations are unlocking a new level of checkout power
The momentum around nShift Checkout was hard to miss. This year we launched our native integration within Shopify, a milestone that puts best-in-class delivery options directly in the hands of Shopify merchants without friction or custom development. Alongside this, our partner Happy Horizon is building the native integration for Magento and Hÿva, further extending our reach across the platforms that power Benelux e-commerce.
What we heard loud and clear at the event: e-commerce agencies and payment providers are increasingly building nShift Checkout into their own offerings. The embedded benefits such as conversion-boosting delivery options at checkout, carrier flexibility, and seamless UX, are becoming a differentiator for their clients. That validation from the partner ecosystem is enormously encouraging.
We also introduced nShift Delivery, our SMB product that allows smaller webshops and marketplace sellers to start shipping directly from their e-commerce platform. No complex setup required. The interest from smaller operators on the floor was significant.

Delivery communication is moving into the marketing stack
One of the most energising conversations we had at the event was around post-purchase communication. Customers want to know where their order is, and they want to hear it through the channels they already use. With nShift Track, brands and retailers can now fully integrate delivery notifications into their marketing automation workflows.
Platforms like Klaviyo, CM.com, Dotdigital and others can plug into nShift Track to take ownership of shipment updates via SMS, WhatsApp, and other channels - in their brand's voice, at the right moment. The "where is my order?" question doesn't have to mean a customer service call. It can be a brand-building touchpoint. That message landed well in Utrecht.
Returns: our use cases are speaking for themselves
Returns remain one of the most complex challenges in e-commerce and one of the biggest opportunities to build customer loyalty. Our returns product drew strong interest at the stand, and for good reason: the use cases we're now able to showcase are genuinely compelling.
With our ecosystem of platform integrations running alongside returns functionality, we're enabling retailers to turn what has historically been a cost centre into a seamless, branded experience. The market is paying attention.

End-to-end delivery solution from a single vendor is a real problem-solver
Perhaps the most consistent feedback we received across the two days was this: the breadth of our shipping capabilities, delivered through a single vendor relationship, is solving real problems across the market - gaining more customers and revenue in the checkout, lowering shipping costs, spending less time on customer service, achieving higher customer satisfaction, and winning with returns.
From single-parcel and multi-colli shipments to pallet deliveries: nShift handles it all. And it matters equally to the small webshop owner taking their first steps in logistics, to the fulfilment company managing high volumes across multiple clients, to the large retailer or manufacturer running B2C, B2B, and D2C flows in parallel. Hearing that message echoed by visitors across the full spectrum of the industry was a real highlight of the event.
Wrapping up
Webwinkel Vakdagen 2026 reinforced what we believe: the future of delivery management isn't an afterthought. It's at the foundation of the e-commerce experience: from the checkout page to the returns portal, from the warehouse to the customer's door.
The conversations in Utrecht gave us energy and direction. We're grateful to everyone who stopped by stand 50, to the team at CheapCargo for a fantastic joint presence, and to the broader Benelux e-commerce community for another inspiring edition.
