SAP already holds the order, delivery and warehouse data your teams work from. nShift extends that flow into multi-carrier shipping, so the information needed for booking, labels and transport documents can move into the carrier process without building separate workflows around individual providers.

Shipment information can then return to SAP for the teams working there. Integrations are available for SAP ERP, SAP Business One and SAP WMS, with the exact workflow depending on the connector and nShift product.

nShift is also integrated to our SAP system, which allows us to see if shipments are delivered in time in order for us to fulfil our delivery promise to our customers.

      Does nShift integrate natively with SAP, or through partners?

      Current SAP integrations are delivered through nShift partners. CONTAX and insideSCM hold Gold nShift certification for SAP ERP integrations, while Implema holds Silver for SAP ERP and SAP WMS. The partner supports the SAP connector, while nShift maintains the carrier connectivity within the shipping product.

      How does shipment status get back into SAP?

      The return path depends on the connector. JYSK uses its SAP integration to check whether shipments are delivered in time against its customer promise. In the CONTAX flow, tracking numbers map back to the SAP delivery. The exact status and shipment data available in SAP depend on the connector and nShift product.

      Does this cover SAP Business One?

      Yes. The partner directory includes SAP Business One integrations alongside SAP ERP and SAP WMS. The nShift product and shipping workflow depend on the connector you choose.

      We are moving from ECC to S/4HANA. What happens to the shipping integration?

      Include shipping in the migration plan with your SAP integration partner. The certified integrations currently listed here cover SAP ERP and SAP WMS rather than a certified S/4HANA connector, so the SAP-side work depends on your current connector and target environment. A partner can scope that work, and nShift can help identify the shipping product and carrier setup that fit it.
