Mobile Climate Control is a Swedish public sector company that manufactures advanced heating, cooling, ventilation and air conditioning systems for buses, trucks, structures, compact vehicles, agriculture, forestry, mining, material handling, and commercial and military vehicles. In operation since 1975, the company now has its own production plants and research and development departments in Sweden, Canada, China, the United States and South Africa as well as a modern factory in Oława, Poland.
The company aims to become a global supplier of HVAC equipment to the commercial vehicle industry – an aim that would be impossible to achieve without innovative transport management tools. That’s why the management board of Mobile Climate Control in Oława came to us. The approach they were using involved communicating directly with carriers through emails, phone calls and different web platforms, all of which involved a lot of manual work. The team was even having to verify transport costs by manually comparing invoices with agreed carrier rates – a very time-consuming process. What’s more, the use of multiple systems meant that transport information was scattered in various places, increasing the risk of error.
After the first months of the solution being in operation, it was already possible to conclude that the processes are simpler to complete and more intuitive. Measurable savings in time are also evident, which translate into financial benefits, as well as benefits resulting from analyzing reports.

The management board and the logistic, transport and finance departments of Mobile Climate Control were looking for a systemic solution that would automate and standardize the shipment ordering process and allow them to easily verify delivery punctuality and transport costs. Thanks to nShift, they now get all this and more.
Other key features that Mobile Climate Control are benefiting from include a track-and-trace module and an intuitive system for communicating with shipment and forwarding companies as well as functionality that enables them to add new shipment companies to the system quickly and easily whenever they need. The platform also enables them to automatically calculate shipment rates and generate management reports.
