Challenge

Before automation, store replenishment was prone to delays and mis-sorted parcels.

Each shipment required manual scanning, and a single pallet could contain hundreds of packages for different destinations.

The logistics team needed an automated system to identify, validate, and update parcel data in real time, without adding extra labor.

Solution

The RFID-powered setup has transformed XXL’s shipping accuracy.

Every parcel is tagged with an RFID label generated by nShift Ship. When the full pallet is scanned before dispatch, the system automatically validates which parcels belong to it and flags any misplaced items.

The same process repeats when pallets reach stores: RFID scanners confirm arrival, update status automatically, and provide instant visibility for store teams.

We just run a pallet of RFID-labeled parcels under the RFID scanner here at the warehouse before dispatch to store. The RFID scanner scans all parcels on a pallet at once, and they are automatically registered, validated and status updated. That way, we immediately spot if there are parcels on the pallet that should not be there. It reduces misdeliveries and provides faster delivery.
