Cabrio Supply gets its logistics process under control with nShift

The Challenge
Cabrio Supply is a market-leading supplier of accessories for convertibles, selling both original and aftermarket products to customers all over the world. They have a showroom in Vaassen, the Netherlands, but mainly sell online through their webshop, where you can find more than 10,000 items. The company develops many of these items themselves – and all of them are tailormade for specific convertible models.
Tijmen Voges, Manager at Cabrio Supply, explains: “You can contact us for almost any brand and type of car, both modern and classic. Our range is very extensive and very diverse: from windshields and car covers to luggage racks, and from rims to tension cables.”
Demand for Cabrio Supply products is significant, and the company now processes between 100 and 150 orders every day. Tijmen: “You can imagine that this is a very time-consuming task, especially with worldwide distribution. It was also becoming rather cumbersome.” As the company had grown, it had added more and more carriers and sales channels (such as Amazon), resulting in a highly complex logistics process that was proving difficult to manage. It was, in Tijmen’s words: “Time to upgrade our systems.”

The Solution
Cabrio Supply started using nShift in 2019. TIjmen says: “[It] facilitates what we used to do by hand, taking care of shipping and all associated information, such as the track and trace codes.” In addition, Cabrio Supply has also created a connection itself (a so-called "call") to the nShift API, so that all track and trace information is returned directly to their Magento webshop. This information is linked to the account of their customers. "This is the perfect addition for us.
The Results
Tijmen is very pleased with the collaboration with nShift. “They really think along with our problems and they think in solutions. The cost for the logistics processes will increase (temporarily), but this will be amply compensated by the time savings it provides for us. For example, we no longer have to think about which carrier best suits a particular order. In addition, we have all relevant information available in our system immediately and we can therefore provide our customers with much more information. We are very satisfied!”
