As a major supplier to Poland’s construction, energy, petrochemical, and automotive industries, Asmet manages logistics operations with more than 40,000 items in stock and a further 50,000 available on request. This complexity requires stable integrations, rapid carrier onboarding, and reliable document generation.
After evaluating the technical fit with their ERP, Asmet chose nShift TMS.
Challenge
Asmet runs a complex operation that requires highly efficient logistics management, incorporating deliveries from suppliers (Asmet is both a distributor and a manufacturer) and to customers.
During implementation discussions, two recurring constraints emerged:
- Integration with IFS Polska ERP needed to be smooth, stable and customizable.
- The team needed access to a large, ready-to-use carrier library without building new connections manually.
We chose to implement the solution after an initial discussion on integration with IFS Polska’s ERP system and after verification of carriers accessible through nShift.

Solution
Asmet implemented nShift TMS to streamline execution across inbound and outbound logistics. Two factors influenced the decision:

Wide carrier coverage
The number of carriers already available via nShift removed the need for lengthy, costly technical onboarding. -
Easy ERP integration
nShift TMS integrated cleanly with IFS Polska without requiring major customizations, and will support a future WMS rollout.
The platform now generates compliant labels and transport documents and provides a consistent, standardized workflow across the logistics chain.
Results
Since adopting nShift TMS, Asmet has reduced process interruptions and increased operational agility.
They can now adapt quickly to market changes, onboard new carriers faster, and maintain continuity even as logistics complexity grows.
Important factors in our decision to implement nShift were the product lead time and, of course, the cost of the solution.
