The RetailTech Breakthrough Awards are a global program that recognizes innovation across retail technology. In their eighth year, the awards celebrate companies that are redefining retail through technology, from e-commerce platforms to in-store solutions and supply chain innovation.
nShift’s winning entry showed how checkout has become a decisive moment for e-commerce success. Research confirms that 81% of shoppers will abandon their baskets if there are poor delivery options (source: DHL). When businesses get deliveries right, conversion rates can increase by up to 20%.
To solve this, nShift introduced major upgrades to its Checkout offer. These include tailored delivery rules based on customers’ purchases and locations, A/B testing, and real-time delivery pricing.
Retailers can tailor delivery options by customer, basket or location, ensuring each shopper sees relevant choices with accurate pricing and timing. nShift Checkout also supports over 1,000,000 pickup and drop-off locations, scales to peak demand, and has been tested at over 1,200 requests per second.
